Messy Advent Days: Day 1 1/2

We missed our first night of Advent readings--the flickering flame of hope was dark. But hope was not lost and we began it on the second day, in style, over breakfast (we'll read Day Two tonight... hopefully!).

Here's a peek into our first reading...

My Love began reading in Genesis 3:1; Constance was not a happy camper.



He read on to Genesis 3:6: "When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it."

And Constance, as if taking a cue from Eve, did a quick grab of Noah's morning smoothie...



"And she saw that the fruit was good."



A completely fitting start to Advent for the Palmers, don't you think?
